Refund & Returns

 

Our goal is to ensure that you are happy with your purchase. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. In the event that your order is damaged or incorrect, you may return it to us within 7 days of delivery for a full retail price, this excludes electrical appliances that are not defective or hair care products that have been opened or where the packaging has been tampered with. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 working days. Please also note that shipping and payment gateway charges are non refundable. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of haircare products that do not work for you or if opened and are no longer in a re-sellable condition, all tamper seals and original packaging needs to be intact and in its original condition. On receipt the returned items will be inspected and and a refund will only be approved if all conditions above have been met. Photographic proof of damaged outer packaging together with the courier driver holding the package box must be sent to sales@thefederation.co.za immediately upon receipt of the item. Damaged purchases must be returned within 7 days of delivery in order for a refund to be processed. The items are your responsibility until they arrive back with us. If you provide photographic proof of a damaged outer box in the hands of the courier driver we will arrange for a collection and a replacement at no charge to you, otherwise all return costs are for your own account with your own courier provider. Where a claim of defect or damage is made, the goods shall be returned for a replacement or refund after receiving prior confirmation by The Federation via e-mail. Prior consent from The Federation must be approved via e-mail before any goods are shipped back. All returns are the responsibility of the buyer until the returned goods reach the seller. Refunds and warranties will not be applied to goods that have been damaged due to misuse, negligence and/or not correctly following the instructions supplied with the product.

Shipping times & delivery options

The Federation Salon strives to fulfill all orders as fast as possible (most orders are dispatched within 24hours). Deliveries are via door to door courier. Allow 2 to 3 working days for JHB , CPT & DBN – 3 to 7 working days for all other parts of the country. Delivery is free for all orders over R500, otherwise there is a R70.00 delivery fee. Please note that delivery time frames are from dispatched date and not from when the actual order is placed.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Damaged items

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@thefederation.co.za or if damaged on delivery together with your photographic proof of damaged outer box in the hands of the courier driver. We will send you a collection notice at no charge. Alternatively if no photographic proof is available you can send your item at your cost via your own courier to: The Federation, Shop 64 Kyalami Corner Shopping Centre, Main road, Midrand,1685.

Returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: The Federation, Shop 64 Kyalami Corner Shopping Centre, Main road, Midrand,1685. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
